So, I’m trying to do this thing. Who knows what it will become. My intentions are pretty minimal and my expectations even less. It involves cocktails, though. So, I think it will be fun. But I’m trying to establish a new online persona of sorts. Take this part of me that loves cocktails, and loves nerding out about things, and wrap it up into this thing. So, I’m going to be bringing you The Cocktail Dork. And let’s see what it becomes.

It’s an interesting time to be embarking on a project like this. When someone says that right now, you expect that they’re talking about the state of the world. And that’s true. It’s an interesting time, in the most traditionally cursed of ways. But it’s also interesting for me, personally. My partner and I have just picked up our entire lives and moved half way around the world.

Before we departed, we cleared the home bar. There were many shindigs, and many gifted bottles. But in the end, all gone! And now we’ve arrived here in Hong Kong, and we’re getting set up in our small Hong Kong apartment, and it’s time for me to rebuild the home bar. This gives me a fascinating journey about which to write. The Rebuilding. TM. Or something like that.
